March 16, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Heritage Farm (behind the Sargeant Museum)
Experience “a day in the life” activities of an 18th Century farm family as costumed interpreters from Louisa County Historical Society engage visitors in performing daily life skills using tools and techniques of the time period. Seasonal activities may include sewing, spinning, weaving, gardening, cooking, laundry and other household and agricultural chores. Heritage Farm is located beside the Sargeant Museum at 214 Fredericksburg Ave., Louisa, with plenty of parking in front of the Louisa Arts Center. These Family Days programs follow an open-house setting from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and are FREE.
