What do I need to do to get a duplicate Concealed Handgun Permit?
If you lose or destroy your permit or wish to change your address, you must complete the Request for Duplicate Permit form and file it with the Louisa Circuit Court. Your original permit must have been issued by Louisa County Circuit Court. The form is signed under oath verifying that you are still eligible to carry a concealed handgun. You may complete the form in front of a Notary Public or with a deputy clerk at the Circuit Court during normal business hours. You will need valid photo identification and your filing fee ($5 for a duplicate or $10 for Address/Name Change) to complete the process. View and complete the Request for Duplicate Permit (PDF).
