At the May 2, 2022 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board adopted changes to our Tax Relief Program for the Elderly and Disabled, increasing the income level. Total combined income has been raised from $40,000 to $50,000 effective for the 2022 tax year. To qualify for this program your combined income cannot exceed $50,000 and your finical worth (which does not include your house and up to 10 acres of land) cannot exceed $200,000. With this change, the deadline to submit 2022 Tax Relief Applications has been extended to June 1, 2022.
