Aikido In Louisa

Want to get fit while learning an effective yet nonviolent martial arts form? Aikido will focus on self-defense without injury, conflict resolution skills, and personal awareness. Participation involves physical exercise, testing your own limits, and learning new ways to think and move...all while having a good time! Open to ages 13 and older, Aikido is an on-going program which will continue throughout the year. Beginners get individual attention from the instructor and senior students to become familiar with the basics of Aikido practice. As participants continue through these classes, they will have the opportunity to test  for a belt exam promotion once achieving required benchmarks. Jeff Martin, who has over 22 years of experience and received his Shidoin certificate in 2014, is the instructor. Discounts will be given to families with 3 or more members enrolled as well as those only able to attend once a week. There will be no class on November 11th and December 25th.
