CPR~First Aid~AED

First aid situations and emergencies can occur at any time! Are you prepared?  In partnership with Louisa County Volunteer Rescue Squad, an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED certification class is available to county residents. This course will prepare participants to provide first aid and CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner. Open to those ages 12 and older, anyone can learn the skills necessary to help save a life. (Ages 12 through 16 must be accompanied by an adult.) A certificate awarding a two year accreditation will be received upon completion of this course. Lunch, at your own expense, will be from noon until 1 p.m. Registration deadline is February 17th or when maximum enrollment has been reached. The guidelines and requirements below outline the operations of the Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism weekly summer camps program until further notice.

Program Guidelines:

  • Social distancing requirements will be in place.
  • Instructors and all participants of activities will follow social distancing as required by guidelines.
  • Hand sanitizing stations available.
  • Masks may be required and social distancing will be followed as necessary.
