In the event of inclement weather, please ensure County facilities are open before making the trip to see us. We'll provide closure or delayed opening information on a variety of platforms:

• Website. You can check the homepage of the Louisa County website.
• Hotline. Our phone system will be updated with closing/opening information. You can hear the recording by calling 540-967-0401.
• News. We’ll reach out to the following news outlets with closing/delayed opening information: Channel 8, Channel 29, Channel 19, Channel 6, Channel 12 and The Central Virginian. Please expect to see us on their lists of closures/delays when applicable.   
• Social Media. You can also check the Louisa County Facebook or Twitter pages for information.
