The Young, Creative & Talented

This is a performing arts class, with the intention of exposing students to a myriad of art genres and providing experiences for growth and development through role exploration, teaching and training. Our planned performance venues will teach the student everything from performing in front of an audience to all that goes on behind the scenes to prepare and execute. Our classes may include dancing, singing and acting. The Institute for the Advancement of Young People is intentionally helping our youth grow and develop in acceptable environments that promote unity, community, and illustrate diversity and durability. Our programs help young people build self-esteem, make friends, and improve their attitudes, relationships and grades. We will be performing at various events throughout the county as well as hold a big showcase event. Leader Robyn Bresciano, trained performance artist, who has worked with neighboring county Parks and Recreation departments, will help guide youth ages 8 through 19 on their journey through youth development and social engagement. This program will continue throughout the summer, meeting every Friday with the $20 monthly fee due the first Friday of each month. New participants are welcome to join beginning the first Friday of each month also.
