Tweens, Teens & Canines

Has your pet been a lot to handle over these past several months of work-from-home and distance learning for the kids? Well, it’s never too late, or too early, to get your child involved in training your family friend. This week-long session will allow your tween/teen to take the driver’s seat in dog handling and taking care of their furry friend. Children ages 8 through 15 will teach their pet basic obedience commands, grooming, feeding, and pet first-aid, that will give them the confidence and knowledge to become a caring dog owner. Please bring pet leash, water, and treats to reward for good training accomplishments. A parent is requested to stay onsite during these sessions. Sharon Jones is the instructor.
