Traditional Karate & Self-Defense

We welcome individuals from all walks of life to join our Introduction to Karate and Self-Defense and Traditional Okinawan Karate and Self-Defense. If Karate had to be described in only one sentence, then the most suitable on may arguably be “You never attack first in Karate.”  Lead instructor, Christopher “Chief” Spare, 6th Degree/Kyoshi, and his instructors, train students in this ongoing program and provide participants the option to progress through skill and belt ranking and participation. Students will learn self-defense through kata and techniques in a variety of ways. Chris served honorably in the US Marine Corps, and has 30 years of law enforcement experience. Have fun learning martial arts in a non-competitive, high-energy environment. There will be no class on January 17th and February 21st.
