Family Fitness at the Park

Join LCPRT as we get outdoors and take part in a different type of family fitness activity! Family Fitness at the Park will be a fun gathering of families participating in Yoga and Zumba. These two fitness programs may be on opposite ends of the workout scale, but they are both programs that all ages can take part in and reap the benefits of. We will all meet at Louisa Town Park on Meadow Avenue;  be there by 9:45 a.m. because at 10 a.m., we will begin with a 45 minute Yoga session led by LCPRT’s own E-RYT 500 instructor Donya Bauer. Even though Yoga is a calming exercise, it will make you use muscles you haven’t been using and you will feel the benefits. After that, we will take a short break, then get back in our spots for a 40 minute Zumba workout led by our certified instructor Melanie Bonner. The uplifting music and the fast-paced movements allow for a workout unlike any other fitness program. To conclude, we will give everyone a small healthy snack and you will have the opportunity to talk to the instructors about how their fitness program can best benefit you and your family. Make sure you bring a yoga mat or blanket and your water bottle. We guarantee that you will have such a fun time that you won’t even realize you are actually exercising! Don’t miss this FREE, fun Family Fitness at the Park. It IS FREE, but you will need to register so that we know how many people to expect.
