Public Service HEROES Camp

Want to learn more about the various venues of public service? Perhaps you have dreams to one day become a public service hero. Join this camp that will allow for interaction and education from a number of different public service heroes. Participating heroes include Louisa County Sheriff’s Department, Louisa County Animal Control, Louisa County Fire & EMS, Virginia State Police, and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. Campers will meet at the Betty Queen Center; LCPRT will provide transportation if it is needed to other locations during the day. Please bring a lunch each day; Friday’s lunch will be provided. Open to participants ages 11-15, campers will learn lifelong lessons and be exposed to various aspects of the public service sector. Learn what it takes to become a real life hero! The deadline to sign up is July 11th; late registrations will only be accepted if space is available.
