Join LCPRT and Louisa County Virginia Cooperative Extension for this NEW Louisa CHOP program that will provide a fun hands-on educational experience in the kitchen for youth ages 9 through 18. Led by instructor Bridgitte Groome, participants will enjoy the week learning to cook and refine their personal culinary skills! Our aspiring chefs will also learn the basics of kitchen safety, cooking, baking and table etiquette, all while participating in friendly competitions each day. At the end of the camp, our junior chefs will show off their new cooking skills. We eat what we cook, so bring your appetite! The registration deadline is June 28th and all who register by that date will receive a FREE Camp Apron. Late registrations will only be accepted if space is available; camp apron is not available for late registrations.
