Support Louisa County Habitat for Humanity at OKTOBERFEST, October 4th
Lake Anna Winery and Louisa County Habitat for Humanity will partner for the
Fourth Annual "OKTOBERFEST" for your wine tasting, dining, and dancing pleasure. Save the date
for Saturday, October 4 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. You will not want to miss the palate titillating,
authentic German dinner that will be expertly presented by the well-known caterer, Clover Forest
Plantation. A souvenir glass with wine will also be included. Bring your dancing shoes because no
one can sit still listening to the live music of Michael Wheelehan of Fredericksburg. He has developed
a large following throughout Virginia and the east coast. His fans have a cultivated taste for great
music and they love to be entertained. There will be a silent auction of very interesting and diverse
items.
Louisa Habitat for Humanity is raising funds for their 6th house in Louisa County. Habitat helps
families with low income and inadequate housing that live or work in Louisa County. They provide a no
interest mortgage that gives families a sense of pride and ownership which comes from learning to
work on their own home and those of other Habitat families. Habitat is solely dependent on the
volunteers who donate time and money toward the cause of providing affordable housing for hard working
partner families. Community support is essential!

to make your reservation. Only $35 will get you a
great dinner, an evening of dancing and live music, wine tasting, and a souvenir wine glass from Lake
Anna Winery. While you are enjoying an exceedingly pleasurable evening, you will be helping to support
a very worthy cause.
We are in desperate need of funds to continue building homes. Please talk to your organization about
putting us in the budget or having a fundraiser in the next year.
