The Louisa County Resource Council is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization which is dedicated to serving the citizens of Louisa County. The Council meets regularly with other service organizations to share and exchange information, to discuss gaps in servces, to hear speakers on topics related to the need for services, and to identify ways to work towards meeting those needs. Anyone who shares in the mission of this organization is welcome to attend.

To promote, develop, and encourage activities and means to deliver community-based services to individuals and families who are disadvantaged, assisting them in meeting their needs without regard to race, religion, or national origin.

The Resource Council manages and operates the following programs:

Medical Outreach Services
Louisa Community Cupboard
and Information & Referral.

The Board of Directors

The Louisa Resource Council's Board of Directors is the organization's governing body. The Board is empowered to conduct the business of the Council and to make decisions regarding the management of its programs.
