Electric Power is supplied by Dominion Virginia Power. The Lake Anna Nuclear Power Generation Facility located in the county guarantees a constant source of electric power and produces 1,786 megawatts from its two generating units.
Power is distributed by Dominion Virginia Power, the Central Virginia Electric Cooperative and the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. Each of these providers distributes 34.5 kw voltage and three phase power. |  Louisa County has two existing power plants and another under construction |
