PRE-BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING THOMAS JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY
6:00 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER
On motion of Mr. Gentry, seconded by Mr. Harper, which carried a vote of 6-0, the Board voted to return to regular session for the November 8, 2006 meeting of the Louisa County Board of Supervisors at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Jennings led the invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
On motion of Mr. Harper, seconded by Mr. Gentry, which carried by a vote of 6-0, the Board voted to adopt the agenda as presented.
CITIZENS INFORMATION PERIOD
Mr. Barnes opened the public hearing at 6:03 p.m. No citizens were present to address the Board.
DISCUSSION
Mr. McLeod informed the Board that due to a conflict the proposed date for the Budget Retreat needs to be changed. Following discussion by the Board it was suggested to change the meeting to January 19th, with a late lunch with the meeting starting at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Barnes asked that Mr. McLeod email the date to members for confirmation.
With no citizens in attendance, Mr. McLeod did not go over the previous information provided the Board, but added additional information regarding future budgets. Mr. McLeod indicated future annual debt services from borrowing for projects that include the new elementary school in the amount of 2 million, as well as the James River Water Project at 1.2 million, the wastewater treatment expansion at $400,000 and the proposed new middle and high school at 5.7 million.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion of Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr. Havasy, which carried by a vote of 6-0, the Board voted to adjourn the pre-budget public hearing at 6:10 p.m.
