Board Members Present:	Willie L. Gentry, Jr., Willie L. Harper, Richard A. Havasy, P.T. Spencer, Jr. and Jack T. Wright
Absent:	Fitzgerald A. Barnes and Dan W. Byers
Others Present:	Greg Hoffman, County Attorney; Amanda Reidelbach, Office Manager, Administration; Doug Straley, Principal; Deborah Coles, Assistant Principal; and Todd Weidow, Assistant Principal

CALL TO ORDER

Chairman Harper called the May 5, 2009 meeting of the Louisa County Board of Supervisors to order at 8:15 a.m.

Principal Straley provided the Board a tour of the Louisa County High School and discussed new programs that he had implemented since becoming Principal.

RECESS

On the motion of Mr. Gentry, seconded by Mr. Havasy, which carried by a vote of 5-0, with Mr. Barnes and Mr. Byers being absent, the Board voted to adjourn the May 5, 2009 meeting at 10:20 a.m.

Ms. Reidelbach stated the motion should be to recess the meeting until May 6, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Gentry amended his motion.  Mr. Havasy amended his second.

On the motion of Mr. Gentry, seconded by Mr. Havasy, which carried by a vote of 5-0, with Mr. Barnes and Mr. Byers being absent, the Board voted to recess the May 5, 2009 meeting at 10:20 a.m. until May 6, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
