Aikido

Even though summer is a time for outside play and less stressful routines, many children spend their time indoors and doing little else than watching TV and playing video games. Participating in Aikido gives kids the opportunity to not only build self confidence, but to add structure and physical activity to their summer. Aikido will help your child focus and cope with daily stresses and in time improve their overall well-being. Class is carried on in a friendly, co-ed atmosphere with children ages 6 through 12 training together. Aikido is an on-going program which will continue throughout the year. Beginners get individual attention from the instructor and senior students to become familiar with the basics of Aikido practice. Jeff Martin, who has over 18 years of experience and received his Shidoin certificate in 2014, is the instructor. Discounts will be given to families with 3 or more members enrolled as well as those only able to attend once a week. There will be no class on Monday, September 4th.
